This large, high quality handcrafted skew chisel from Michihamono is great for roughing out the surface and finishing woodworks. The blade is made from Blue Paper Steel (Aogami No.2) that is heat-treated and contains chromium and tungsten for increased strength and durability. It has a handle made from Japanese cypress that feels comfortable when held. This tool has a skewed tip, for detailed work and finishing tapered corners of the wood, and a 15mm wide cutting edge for smoothing out surfaces. Buy this left skew chisel along with a right-skewed one (sold separately), to carve wood in both left and right directions.
